Logos help guide CSU's visual identity, brandingThe Thomas Whitley Clock Tower, named after Columbus College's first president, is a landmark on CSU's main campus and, likewise, serves as an anchor for the university's visual identity efforts . ![]() All logosIn addition, the words Columbus State University -- not just CSU -- should be displayed on the front and the back of every publication from a campus entity that's sent to an external audience. The official CSU logo will satisfy half of that requirement as it includes the full name.High-resolution versions of the clock tower logo and other logos used by the university are available online. Detailed instructions on use of the logos are available as part of the Guide to Print and Online Publishing at CSU. Note that the clock in the official clock tower logo is displaying the time that would be known as 19:58 in military time, as an homage to CSU's founding as Columbus College in 1958. Questions about proper use of the university's logos should be directed to CSU Public Relations Director John Lester at 706-562-1652. |
